Last Day of School — Goodbye Family Picnic

Our Goodbye Family Picnic provides a concrete experience for the children through which to begin to recognize the changes and endings that come with our school year ending. The evening begins in the Parish Hall where children from each class will present a brief skit of a favorite song which they have prepared. After the Parish Hall, weather permitting, we will move outside for a picnic supper on the grassy area beyond Whiting House. Each family should bring their own blankets/chairs, drinks and you may order a pizza through the school or bring your own picnic style dinner. Teachers will hand out a personal “Goodbye Book” to your child and we will end with a watermelon dessert!
