Where do I start?
Please call or email our Director to schedule a tour and obtain pricing for our preschool programs. Based on availability, new families are enrolled on a first come, first serve basis.
In December, the registration process begins for enrolling three-, four- and five-year old children into our morning and full day programs for the next school year. Currently enrolled children and returning families have first placement into the program. The morning and full day programs will be filled in each classroom as applications are received beginning in December and January.
For your convenience, we have put together an enrollment checklist to help you gather everything you need to enroll your child.
Step 1: Schedule a Tour
A Program Tour: Parents and guardians are invited to take a Director led tour of our program with their child. During the tour, families are provided with a program overview which includes a facility tour, a chance to visit in the classrooms and meet staff, and a brief overview of program policies and school handbook.
1st Church Preschool Tour Folder: At the tour, each family is provided with a folder which includes our school brochure, school calendar, mission statement, philosophy, teacher credentials, class schedule, discipline policy, application form with current tuition fees, and NAEYC accreditation information.
Parent Handbook: Please review our on-line Parent Handbook which includes our mission, philosophy, curriculum, assessment plan, communication policy, discipline policy, sick child policy as well as other policies that pertain to health/safety. It also contains other day-to-day policies and procedures helpful to parents and teachers. A printed copy can be provided upon request.
Step 2: Application Form / Registration Fee
Fill out Application Form and return with your Registration Fee. The application form is provided during the tour (see step 1).
Step 3: Enrollment Packet
After receipt of your Application Form and Registration Fee, families will receive an Enrollment Packet. (Registration Fee is non-refundable unless there is no available placement.)
Welcome to 1st Church Preschool Enrollment Packet: Once registered, each family receives an enrollment packet which consists of a welcome letter, enrollment contract, contract copy, enrollment form, medical assessment form, emergency contact/parent consent form, discipline policy and transportation form for kindergartners.
Step 4: Contract / Tuition Deposit
Return your signed contract along with your Tuition Deposit. Your signed contract and non-refundable deposit secures your child’s enrollment spot and your tuition deposit will be deducted from your June Tuition payment.
Step 5: Submit Final Enrollment Forms
Complete all enrollment forms and return before school begins.
Allergies / Health Concerns: For children with allergies or health concerns requiring medication at school please complete the following forms which can be obtained from the Director.

Step 6: Attend Our Open House
Prior to the children‘s first day of school, parents and students of enrolled families are able to visit the school and become familiar with teachers, meet other parents and children in the class, submit any last minute documents, and spend time in the classroom so questions can be asked/answered and relationships can begin to develop. Our Open House is held the day before school begins. Please see our school calendar for specific details regarding dates and times.
