Tuition is due the first week of each month. It is based on a 39-week school year, which does not include Christmas week or the April vacation week, and is payable monthly in 10 (ten) even installments. A non-refundable registration and placement fee of $50.00 is required for newly enrolled children and $25.00 for those returning. A tuition deposit of $100.00 will be required upon acceptance into the program, and applied toward the final June tuition payment. There is a 10% sibling discount applied to the lowest tuition.
Care 4 Kids
1st Church Preschool accepts Care 4 Kids. The Care 4 Kids program makes child care affordable for low to moderate income families living in Connecticut. Care 4 Kids is a partnership between the State of Connecticut, families and programs to make child care affordable for low to moderate income families in Connecticut. Care 4 Kids will help pay child care cost for eligible families. For additional information and to determine eligibility, please visit the Care 4 Kids website.
Additional Charges (Optional)
Any additional time beyond contracted schedule will be at an additional charge including the vacation weeks and the summer program which are all optional.
Absence of Child
Payments are due regardless of the absence of a child for reasons such as vacations, illness or the temporary closing of First Church due to weather emergencies or snow days.
A fee of $10 will be imposed on balances unpaid 10 days after the 1st of the month. All children must be picked up by 5:30 p.m with a penalty late fee of $10 for each 15 minutes late and doubled after 2 late pickups.
Parent/Guardian will pay all incurred bank fees for returned checks. 1st Church Preschool will require payments by cashier’s check or cash if the number of checks returned for insufficient funds exceeds to two.
Withdrawal Within Contract Term
Enrollment is conducted on a month-to-month basis and may be terminated upon one month’s written notice by either party. Any final day care charges will be pro-rated depending on the actual services utilized up to the termination date. Any remaining balance is required to be paid in full 15 days after written notice is given.
